Allianz Life Insurance Malaysia Berhad has named Mr Rangam Bir as its new CEO. The appointment is still subject to the approval of the local regulatory authority and shall only take effect upon approval received from the said authority.
Mr Bir has been with Allianz for more than 16 years and was till recently, heading the Life & Health and P&C businesses in the Asia Pacific region as Regional General Manager at Allianz SE, Singapore branch. In addition to this role in Singapore, he assumed, over the last months, the role as the interim CEO for Allianz China General Insurance.
