Prudential Singapore appoints new board member


In a release, Prudential Singapore announced the appointment of Sir Alan Stanley Collins KCVO CMG as a non-executive director with effect from 17 August 2012.

Sir Alan had a distinguished career in the diplomatic service holding a number of Ambassador and High Commissioner appointments representing Britain internationally. He is no stranger to Singapore as he was the High Commissioner to Singapore from 2003 to 2007. He is currently a non-executive director of Amlin plc, a leading international insurance group specialising in providing insurance cover to commercial enterprises and reinsurance protection.

He also holds other rolessuch as non-executive director of JPMorgan American Investment Trust plc and ICICI Bank UK plc and is the non-executive chairman of Powertec Energy Ltd and Nair&Co Ltd.
