SCB is hiring the head of insurance product management

Responsible for product management for the insurance business across the CB Group SCB is seeking to actively drive the growth of its Wealth Management business. A pillar of this growth is the insurance business. We need dynamic, change leaders with strong experience in banking and insurance to drive the global growth of the insurance business. This requires the ability to work on all aspects of product management and will require extensive interaction with the bank’s senior management both at Group level and at country level. 


Key Roles & Responsibilities 
  • Develop and support implementation of Group Insurance Strategy, 
  • Drive best practices, synergies & operating models across countries,
  • Drive strategic initiatives to facilitate revenue growth and capability development 
  • Support governance framework and guidelines for Insurance business
  • Managing relationship with significant International Insurers 
  • Support segments to deliver differentiated CVPs
  • Work with Distribution on insurance requirements for various channels including branch and remote channels
  • Work with Group Technology & Operations on overall Technology end-state and roadmap for insurance products across the Group 
Qualifications & Skills 
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills 
  • Project Management and Change management experience 
  • Experience working within a bank environment supporting insurance distribution
  • > 10 years experience working with insurance products
  • Experience in Asian insurance markets
  • Knowledge of process engineering and technology
