Thomas Henze will take over from Thomas Vonrueti as CEO Swiss Life Singapore

In the context of the adapted sales strategy of Swiss Life International, Thomas Henze will take over from Thomas Vonrueti as CEO Singapore. The appointment is subject to regulatory approval and will be effective as soon as granted.
Thomas Henze started his career in the HNWI life insurance business in 2005 and joined Swiss Life in 2007. Over the years, he has been mandated with various assignments in different countries which allowed him to gain a comprehensive understanding of our business. In 2009 he joined the team in Singapore as Head of Corporate Development and was responsible for product development, special solutions, key partner management and the positioning and expansion of Swiss Life in Asia. In the same year he became Deputy CEO Singapore.
Commenting on the appointment, Beat Hubacher, CEO Swiss Life International said: “I am very pleased that Thomas Henze has agreed to take on this responsibility. He brings the necessary knowledge to pursue our successful path in Singapore and ensures that the Swiss Life continuously adapts the business to the ongoing challenges.”
Thomas Vonrueti joined Swiss Life in 2008 to build up the Private Placement Life Insurance business in Singapore from scratch. It was with great dedication, know-how and passion that he introduced this new concept to the Asian market. He has now decided to leave Swiss Life and pursue other challenges outside the company.
