Private Medical Insurance may be set to boom in Singapore


Jelf highlights importance of health cover for predicted flood of expats
There could be a surge in demand for international private medical insurance (iPMI) cover in Singapore, as the city state looks to increase its population in order to fuel economic growth, a leading employee benefits consultancy has said.
Jelf Employee Benefits said that Singapore’s healthcare system – reportedly one of the best in the world – is about to be “put to the test” following the country’s announcement that it plans to increase its population by a third in order to stimulate growth.
