ACE Group has announced the creation of a new unit to focus solely on the execution of distribution strategies across the Asia Pacific region. This unit will focus on maximising ACE’s product offerings with key brokers in the region which stretches from South Korea to Australia and New Zealand as well as ACE’s large clients domiciled in Asia Pacific.
Mr Ben Carey who has over 10 years of experience will lead this new unit in Asia. Heading up the same position for Australia and New Zealand, is Mr Perry O’Leary who has over 35 years of senior industry experience in the Australian market-place.
Meanwhile, ACE Group has also appointed Mr Edward Ler as the new President Director for Indonesia’s general insurance business. He will report to Mr Juan Luis Ortega, Regional President for ACE in Asia Pacific.
Mr Ler is presently the Regional Head of Personal Lines and Business Insurance. His career in the insurance industry spans a variety of managerial roles covering the Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Europe.
