Zurich announces the appointments of new executives in its Life business

Zurich has appointed Mr Colin Morgan who is currently CEO of Zurich’s Life business in Australia, to the role of CEO of its Life business in Asia Pacific. Mr Morgan will be based in Hong Kong. 
 
Zurich has also appointed Mr Mark Hartigan, presently CEO of Zurich’s Life business for the Asia Pacific and Middle East, to the role of CEO of its Life business for the newly formed region of Europe, Middle East and Africa. He succeeds Mr David Sims, CEO of Zurich’s Life business in Europe, who is retiring from Zurich effective 31 March 2015. Mr Hartigan will be based in Zurich. 
 
Mr Morgan’s and Mr Hartigan’s appointments are effective 1 January 2015 and both men will report to Mr Kristof Terryn, CEO Global Life. 
 
Mr Tim Bailey, currently Chief Risk Officer of Zurich’s Life business, will succeed Mr Morgan in his current role as CEO of Zurich’s Life business in Australia, effective 1 January 2015.
