AIG and Aviva offer motorists two-year insurance policies in Singapore

INSTEAD of paying annually for car insurance, vehicle owners these days have a more unusual option - taking out a two-year policy, that is, one with double the period of coverage generally extended to motorists.




This novel product is available from AIG, Singapore's No.3 motor insurer, as well as online insurer Aviva.

Markel International expands Trade Credit team in Singapore

Markel International has appointed Ms Linda Naili to its expanding trade credit team in Singapore. Based in Singapore, Ms Naili’s focus will be to build relationships with financial institutions and brokers around the region, so as to grow Markel’s Asia Pacific trade credit book.
 
She will report directly to Mr Abhishek Chhajer, senior underwriter and head of trade credit in Asia Pacific. 

Singapore: New Head of Insurance at MAS

Ms Lee Keng Yi is now the new Head of Insurance at the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). She takes over from Ms Loo Siew Yee who is now Head of Banking Department 1 at the MAS.
